MISSION, VALUES AND GOALS OF LET'S HELP FUND
Since 2015, "Let's help!" charity fund has been systematically helping senior people and working on the creation of dignified old age in Ukraine. Under the care of the fund there are tens of thousands of elderly and 127 geriatric boarding houses from 10 regions of Ukraine.

FOUNDERS OF THE FUND
The Let's Help charity fund was established on April 21, 2015 by the Bondarenko family, founders of the "LIGA" Group of Companies, which has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 1991.
During the first years of the fund's operation, all administrative costs were covered by the founders, which allowed the Let's help fund to become the largest aid fund supporting the elderly.
The foundation works outside of politics and actively involves partners and benefactors to support the foundation's programs. We guarantee that all 100% of your contributions will go to charity, because all administrative costs are covered by the founders.

LET'S HELP FUND
- ASSISTANCE TO GERIATRIC BOARDING HOMESWe improve living conditions for Care Recipients in geriatric boarding houses (new dishes, bedding, hygiene products).
We conduct regular training for staff.
We care about safety: 1,094 "medical alert buttons" were installed to call staff in 30 geriatric boarding houses in the Kyiv region.
We are introducing additional services for wards boarding houses - a gym, cosmetic services, etc.
We organize high-quality and meaningful leisure time.1 - INTERACTION WITH THE STATEImproving the quality of life of the elderly in Ukraine is impossible without the implementation of changes at the state level, changes in regulatory acts and the system of work of responsible bodies. That is why we actively work with state institutions.
The head of the fund, Olha Bondarenko, is a member of the Coordination Council under the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, is a member of the Barrier-Free Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and was an adviser to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
The Foundation participated in the development of a new Standard Regulation on a boarding house for senior citizens and people with disabilities, which increases the requirements for safety and living conditions in geriatric institutions.2 - ENHANCEMENT OF AGING CULTUREWe strive to increase the value of an elderly person, to change the attitude towards pensioners.
We have created an expert platform, the Ukrainian Pension Forum, within which a discussion takes place and work has been initiated on the formation of a strategy for ensuring decent old age in Ukraine.
The educational and social project University of The Third Age "Proton founded by us provides barrier-free access to education and self-development for people aged 60+.3

Opening of the Angel Flowerbed in Kyiv. On the first birthday, we presented the entire community of Kyiv with a flower bed in the form of an Angel - the symbol of the Foundation. The art object is located on Peremogy Avenue, near the Beresteyska metro station

Flashmob #DignifiedAging in social networks, timed to the start of the "Dignified Old Age" program. The action gained wide publicity, and many Facebook users joined it, who expressed their opinion how #DignifiedAging looks like.

Launch of Ukraine's first great charitable program "Dignified Old Age" aimed at systematically improving the lives of lonely elderly people in geriatric boarding houses. As part of the program, a wide range of work is carried out - from the replacement of dishes and bed linen to the repair of premises.

Opening of an inclusive playground in The M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden. The playground is designed as universal one and not only for children with special needs. There are 3 types of swings on which 14 children can ride at the same time. The Fund attracted UAH 87,000 for the construction of the playground.

Holding the first All-Ukrainian flash mob #LetshelpBABUSHKAS, with the aim of drawing public attention to the insolvency of single pensioners and helping them purchase basic food. The average purchase receipt is UAH 250-300. Flash mob volunteers can buy the most necessary food products - buckwheat and other cereals, sugar, milk, butter, cheese, meat products, sweets, etc. The promotion has become regular and is held every year.

Completion of the first stage of the "Magic Button" project. 13 geriatric centers of the Kyiv region were provided with call buttons.

We were the first in Ukraine who launched a training program for managers, medical and junior medical staff of geriatric boarding houses. The program is designed to systematically change the mindset of staff working with the elderly, in order to improve the level of service in geriatric boarding houses.

We held an open swimming championship for children with disabilities "New Year's Starts" with the support of our partner Kyivparaswim, awarding the participants with prizes and gifts.

The Regulation on the boarding house for elderly citizens and persons with disabilities was adopted, the development of which was supported by the "Let's help" CF team. The founder of the Fund, Olga Bondarenko, became an adviser to the Minister of Social Policy. She is also a member of the Barrier-free Council under the Cabinet of Ministers and actively participates in reforming the gerontology system in Ukraine and creating an inclusive environment.

The first gym in Ukraine was opened in the house for the elderly - the Gornostaypil geriatric boarding house. Thanks to partners LIGA.Life, East Loud Group LLC and SPORT LIFE, it was possible to collect 323,104 UAH for the arranging of a modern gym.
PROJECTS WE'RE PROUD OF
The Let's help fund launched the #Letshelpbabusya (formerly #letshelpbabushkas) flash mob to draw attention to the critical financial situation of Ukrainian pensioners.
Volunteers across the country offer to fill grocery baskets for elderly people and pay for them in stores. Usually, one check is from 200 to 300 UAH. These are the most necessary products for everyday use - buckwheat, sugar, pasta, oil, canned food.

To become a volunteer, all you had to do was to register on the "Let's help" website. However, many Ukrainians participated in the flash mob without registration. There are many famous singers, bloggers, public figures and journalists among them.
The action became regular and covered all regions of Ukraine.

"Volunteers" – is the first All-Ukrainian children's volunteer movement, the main goal of which is to educate children in sensitivity, responsibility and understanding the value of mutual assistance. It's cool to do a one-time action and feel like a hero, but charity is not heroism, it's a way of life. We teach children not to try to become supermen, but to do small things that make the world around them better.
Our volunteers visit lonely grandmothers and grandfathers in geriatric boarding houses, bring them smiles and gifts; organize unforgettable holidays for the elderly; they help plant trees and flowers near geriatric boarding houses, they spend time together fun and usefully.
White BOX is a charity auction of works of contemporary art and unique items. The purpose of the auction is to help elderly people living in geriatric boarding houses.
The first WHITE BOX auction took place on February 24, 2017 in Kyiv.
On October 29, 2017, the "Lets help" Foundation held the second "White Box" charity event in support of the "Dignified Old Age" program. 2 814 243 hryvnias were collected at the auction.

On November 14, 2018, the third Gala dinner was held.
During this auction, it was possible to collect UAH 7 500 000.

In 2015, the "Let's help" CF initiated the BLACK BOX social charity project in the regional centers of Ukraine.
"BLACK BOX" is an all-Ukrainian project that aims to fill libraries and schools for blind children with specialized literature by purchasing Braille printers for the largest regional centers of Ukraine.

The project involves the organization of gala dinners for representatives of the local elite in different cities of Ukraine, where visitors not only donate money to charity, but also immerse themselves in complete darkness for several hours, which allows them to touch the world of blind people.
